Would you buy a second hand hat?

Absolute Horse Magazine asked us this question recently and we replied with an emphatic NO. Please, never ever buy a second hand riding hat. The reason is that you don’t know what has happened to it in the past and, as you can see from this article, even though a hat may look fine from the outside, it may not be on the inside and so may compromise your safety.
