Here at Champion, we are 100% dedicated to rider safety and a rigorous safety testing protocol lies at the heart of everything we do. But we are delighted to now be able to take our product testing and consequently our research and product development to a whole new level, with the opening of a brand new, on-site safety lab in our factory in Cardiff.
Safety testing at Champion has always started with our own onsite test rig and continues through product standards certification to ongoing and regular BSI Kitemark testing for all Champion products on the market today. However, our new state of the art test lab will enable us to increase exploratory testing significantly, and having the ability to test new and novel materials easily and quickly on site will improve our research and development capabilities even further.
Our aim is to achieve testing capabilities for all accident scenarios and with the addition of rotational force testing, Champion is at the forefront of new developments and new rider safety products coming on to the market.
So, when we say our products are tested to destruction, we really mean it!
