This year’s British Horse Society Rideathon 2021 will be supported by Champion, with fabulous prizes provided for the Club, Livery Yard, and Riding School that complete the most Kilometres!
By taking part in this year’s BHS Rideathon you will be raising much-needed funds for the BHS Ride Out Fund, which financially supports projects that open and/or enable safe off-road equestrian access throughout the UK.
Rideathon challenges you to ride, carriage drive, walk or cycle a minimum of 70km and raise £70, or much more! From 1 May – 31 October 2021.
Our highest priority is always your wellbeing, please follow social distancing measures and the Government advice for your country.
Please also be sure to wear correctly fitted helmets and body protectors when riding, driving and/or leading/walking with your horse or pony on your Rideathon adventure!
If in any doubt, please give Champion a call and we can advise you on where you can be fitted for your new helmet or body protector to give you peace of mind whilst tallying up those kilometers!
If you ride daily, we recommend you replace your helmet every year, equestrians that ride weekly every 2-3 years, and occasional pleasure riders to replace their helmets at least every 3-5 years. Body Protector foam deteriorates with time too, so make sure your body protector is up to the job before you set off on your challenge too!
Remember, every kilometer you are riding and penny you are raising will help riders off the road, so get out there and enjoy the scenic route!
